Lene had been a model for years, and was a contestant on Norway's version of "Survivor". She became friends with the host who owned C+C Records, and saw a chance for her dream to come true. She gave up modeling and offered to work at C+C Records for free without a salary as long as one day she would get to record music with them. Seven years later, she started working on her album. The resulting album was called Welcome To Sillycone Valley (I posted it back when it came out.
