From the second I first listened to Roxanna's debut single "Unforgotten" I knew I had stumbled upon something special. With a voice that can send shivers down your spine, Roxanna has really created a work of art. In its original version, the song is a latin-influenced power ballad of sorts. I can hear myself on a carribean cruise with a tropical drink in a coconut cup in hand, just feeling the breeze and enjoying life. Lyrically it's about a failed relationship, but somehow "Unforgotten" has a feeling of happiness. Perhaps, it's the concept of never forgetting the love and how joyful it was at its peak. The original version, however, is not as good as it gets. There is also a Dance Remix of "Unforgotten" where the song truly comes to life. This one is an absolute smash! Exotic. That is how you would describe the voice of Russian bombshell Irina. Bursting onto the dance scene with her debut single, "Something About You", Irina demands attention from the second you see or hear her. Her voice has a slight accent that gives it a special appeal, one that I personally can't get enough of. The original version of "Something About You" has all the ingredients for a perfect pop jam; a synth-heaven bassline, a killer hook, rock elements with a pop feel, another killer hook, a beat to die for, another killer hook...it's fun to say the least! Sadly, while perfectly danceable, the song is not a dancefloor jam in its original construction. This problem did not go unnoticed however, because Irina's debut single was treated with a delicious, boundary-breaking remix package! Not all mixes in a remix package can be terrific, and "Something About You" follows that paradigm. The Automatic Panic Remix has an unfitting breakd...

Margo Rey (also known as Margo Reymundo, or simply Margo) has become known in a certain part of the indie music scene and for a good reason. She has a strong voice that can smoothly deliver any genre she decides to tackle. Her early beginnings in the electronic group Evolve show her talent with downtempo, almost trance-like music. Her debut album, My Heart’s Desire, shows how she can beautifully create acoustic and rock tunes. The dance remixes of her two singles “Get Back” and “Habit” show how perfectly her voice fits club music. When I received her second album, “Habit”, I knew I was in for a treat! The album starts off with the title track, “Habit”. This album version is a slow moving alternative song with elements of country music. It’s certainly a nice take on the song, but nothing compares to the glorious remixes by Tracy Young, Mike Bordes, and Klubjumpers that hit the clubs back in 2010! This song was destined to be a club banger, and while I am happy to hear the original...

Alexandra Stan, the singer behind the smash hit Mr. Saxobeat, released one single called Lollipop before making it big. This is it, and it has a lot of the same themes as Mr. Saxobeat with a saxophone dance riff and a super catchy chorus. This single was sort of experimental, and didn't become that big of a hit...but it is definitely one of her best songs so far! It has been stuck in my head for quite a while so I'm posting it now, in perfect 320kbps. Included is the Club Version which is more of an alternate version than anything else, but fun to hear. I present to you Aqua's first single from their upcoming album, Megalomania! The two remixes were extremely hard to find in legit 320kbps (I searched for DAYS), but I eventually found a way to get them right from the label! They are fun to listen to for sure, but the main excitement is in the original track which is included, also in 320kbps. The single was a big hit in Denmark and helped them decide to continue with full promotion of a new album! Valora is an up and coming pop-rock band from LA who have been getting a lot of attention lately for their live shows and their debut single, Extreme. This song was an instant hit for me, even though I usually don't prefer the rock-influenced sound. In this song the vocalist Syd Durran sings with such power that it's hard to resist listening to it over and over again. I'm certainly looking forward to more! Utada Hikaru is one of my favorite singers of all time, and this single is one of her best. It's infectiously catchy and kind of funny too! Not to mention the remixes, which give the song three new different flavors that you'll love just as much! The Mike Rizzo Mix is the obvious best, but the others are still amazing. You've probably heard of Greyson Chance. He gained worldwide attention with his piano cover of Lady GaGa's Paparazzi, and was featured on multiple TV shows like Ellen where he performed live. The Gonnabees are a silly girl group who apparently got to number one in New York with this single! It's called 'Queen Of Pop' and it's a genuinely fun song! The lyrics are obviously about current pop stars...but the Gonnabees have nothing nice to say. The whole song is trashing them! While the song itself is quite amazing, even better is its b-side 'Cheat On My Boyfriend'. The title is self-explanatory but the lyrics explain anyway, and in excruciating detail. Jenny Rom is a bubblegum pop singer who makes silly happy dance music that will make some people happy, and drive others out of their minds! You may have heard her song www.blondegirl which became an internet sensation soon after its release. This song is called The Magnificent Seven , and it is a fan favorite. Erika Jayne is back with a chilling new single, 'One Hot Pleasure'! I say "chilling" because it sent chills down my spine when I first heard it. Written by Dave Aude, Luciana, and Nick Clow, this song is nothing short of a sizzling godsend for clubland, and is definitely a new style for Erika. It is very electro-house, compared to her previous material which was all slightly disco influenced. I absolutely loved her previous material, but this new style is a very very good thing. The song starts off pleasingly with a sexy shriek, and then a heavy synth-riff intro that continues into the verses. The verses are well-written and very catchy, and by this point you should already be seeing just how different this song is. The pre-chorus drops the synths for a softer feel which is obviously leading up to something. I was amazed by the chorus, which brought an excited smile to my face - it's crazy! The synths are back and Erika delivers with surefire enthusiasm, a complet...

Lene had been a model for years, and was a contestant on Norway's version of "Survivor". She became friends with the host who owned C+C Records, and saw a chance for her dream to come true. She gave up modeling and offered to work at C+C Records for free without a salary as long as one day she would get to record music with them. Seven years later, she started working on her album. The resulting album was called Welcome To Sillycone Valley (I posted it back when it came out. Click here to read about it and download it!), and it spawned four hit singles in Norway and other countries around the world. And I'm not just saying that, they were actually hits! Three of them were given music videos, which all had high budgets, and Lene became a star. After completing promotion for her album, she received an offer from another label. Soon after that, she left C+C Records and signed with Sony Music. Prima Donna is her first single under Sony Music, and it's quite diff...
