Roxanna - Unforgotten
From the second I first listened to Roxanna's debut single "Unforgotten" I knew I had stumbled upon something special. With a voice that can send shivers down your spine, Roxanna has really created a work of art. In its original version, the song is a latin-influenced power ballad of sorts. I can hear myself on a carribean cruise with a tropical drink in a coconut cup in hand, just feeling the breeze and enjoying life. Lyrically it's about a failed relationship, but somehow "Unforgotten" has a feeling of happiness. Perhaps, it's the concept of never forgetting the love and how joyful it was at its peak. The original version, however, is not as good as it gets. There is also a Dance Remix of "Unforgotten" where the song truly comes to life. This one is an absolute smash!
